Case Number:
62

Age, Years:
54

Followup Years:

Outcome:
no cancer

Original WHO Dx:
simple non-atypical hyperplasia

EIN Diagnosis:
Proliferative endometrium with architectural change of unopposed

estrogens

D-Score:
1.8

Comments:
Some fragments resemble endometrial polyp, but dense stroma could

equally be explained as basal location of anovulatory endometrium. In

this case, absence of surface epithelium makes it unwise to diagnose a

polyp.
