| Proliferative endometrium with architectural change of unopposed |
| Comments: |
| This is a classic "anovulatory" or disordered proliferative endometrium in |
| which the endometrial compartment is uniformly peppered with dilated |
| and irregular glands, without any localizing lesions. Stromal volume |
| exceeds gland volume.
Random proximity of occasional glands |
| forms
pseudo-localizing lesions. These can be recognized by lack of
cytologic change |
| and
loose perimeter. |
