Age, Years:
37.95

Followup Years:
none

Outcome:
not available

Original WHO Dx:
complex non-atypical hyperplasia

EIN Diagnosis:
EIN

D-Score:
N/A

Comments:
This localizing lesion is extremely sharply circumscribed, with a cytology

differing from the proliferative background.  It was considered "non-atypical"

because of the polarized and elongated nuclei.  PTEN immunohistochemistry

nicely shows the lesion distribution and a genotypic-cytologic concordance.

An example of an easily identified EIN lesion that is difficult to interpret

using traditional WHO criteria.
